About SMART Pilates Whitianga
SMART Pilates in Whitianga was established in June 2024. We are a home based studio dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
We offer personalised Reformer Pilates programmes that cater to the unique needs of each individual.
Whether you are a beginner or experienced, our semi-private Reformer Pilates sessions ensure that you receive the attention and guidance you need to achieve your fitness goals.

Semi-Private Reformer Sessions
Enjoy the benefits of small group sessions with a maximum of three participants, ensuring personal attention with a tailored programme.
Personalised Pilates Programmes
In your first sesssion we will assess your ability and design a customised reformer Pilates programme specifically for you.
As you improve, your programme will be modified, so you will be continually challenged.

About Sangita Ranchhod
I have been involved with Pilates since 2004. I’ve been a client of Westmere Pilates and The Sandringham Physio Room in Auckland for over 15 years. That is when I knew that Pilates was right for me.
Pilates has helped me personally with flexibility, core strength, lower back, neck & shoulder issues and ankle problems. Post-surgical ankle rehabilitation has helped me get moving a lot quicker than anticipated.
Due to my love and strong belief in the numerous benefits Pilates provides, drove and encouraged me to become an Instructor.
After completing the Polestar Reformer Training, I wanted to offer a more personal approach to Reformer sessions rather than the large class environment.
I offer semi-private classes with no more than three clients at one time. Each has their own Reformer Pilates programme, which is designed after their first session.
Polestar training includes; Muscle Skeleton Anatomy Training, Six Polestar Principles – Breathing, Axial Elongation & Core Control, Spine Articulation, Organisation of the Head, Neck & Shoulders, Alignment & Weight bearing of the Extremities, Movement Integration and Reformer Training – Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 Exercises.
